How to submit abstracts?

All enquiries regarding abstracts should be emailed to: xafs2018@mazurkas.pl

Please be informed that the presenting author of accepted abstracts must be registered by the registration deadline.
If none of the authors is registered, the contribution will be cancelled.

Abstract Guidelines

  1. Abstracts must be submitted in English only through the dedicated page.
  2. Each participant may upload up to two abstracts.
  3. Unusual abbreviations must be spelled out on first use.
  4. Abstracts must be submitted as a plain text.
  5. The abstract should be organized in paragraphs as follows:
    • Introduction
    • Methods
    • Results and discussion
    • Conclusion(s)
  6. Do not include title or author information in the body of your abstract.
  7. The maximum length allowed for an abstract is 3500 characters (approximately 500 words) including blank spaces. The abstract title, the author(s) or names of institutions are not included in the count of 3500 characters.
  8. Please follow the layout of the abstract template, fill it in and upload as well as submit the plain text. The template is available here.
  9. It is the author’s responsibility to submit a correct abstract. Any errors in spelling, grammar or scientific fact will be published as typed by the author.

Remarks

  1. Only abstracts that are complete and in accordance with headings provided will be considered for review.
  2. Abstracts will be reviewed and scored by a panel of selected reviewers.
  3. Your summary will be available on-line for all XAFS 2018 delegates.
